“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction not a destination”

ABOUT ME

I am Precious Ramasodi, a clinical psychologist and passionate advocate for self-awareness and self-love. My desire and objective for the individuals that I work with is to provide a safe holding environment in which one can feel free to express themselves.

My chief method of intervention is providing you with a welcoming and comfortable space. It is in this environment that clients guided by the therapist can honestly and bravely meet the deepest parts of themselves necessary for the process of healing.

Therapy for me is always focused on strengthening and developing coping skills whilst growing awareness around underlying dynamics.

Services

Therapy is fundamentally healing that takes place through relating with another person. Although, people often feel prompted to seek therapy following major life changes, counselling can be beneficial to individuals who simply want to explore feelings of mild dissatisfaction or restlessness.

I provide counselling that is primarily informed by psychodynamic theory, but I always strive to adapt the theoretical approach to the unique needs of the client. If you desire a particular counselling modality (i.e. Person-centered counselling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused counselling, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Playtherapy, etc.) please feel free to make this known at the outset of your therapy process.

I provide psychotherapy to adolescents (14 years old and above), adults and the elderly, in order to assist them with the management of emotional and social challenges.
